The Young Workers Centre is being supported by the ACT Government to run a survey about the impacts of COVID-19 on young peoples’ experiences of work.
Fill out the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WSJNNNB (and share it with friends!)
We know that young people are more likely to face insecurity at work which means that crisis’ like these hit them particularly hard. During COVID-19 millions of casuals who had already been suffering the impacts of insecurity, were left out of JobKeeper and many of those who were included were pressured into working more hours and in unsafe conditions. Young people lost work, income, and security in their futures.
Our survey is going to explore these impacts and look at the effect of COVID-19 on young peoples’ employment, working conditions (including safety) and finances.
Please fill it out and pass it on to help us show how COVID-19 has impacted young peoples’ employment, working conditions (including safety) and finances. Your responses will go toward ensuring young people get the best chance of recovery after the pandemic and future campaigning and advocacy from the Young Workers Centre as we fight for the empowerment of young people at work.
The survey is confidential and should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. It will be open from now until the 7th of August. Once completed, you will go in the draw to win 1 of 5 $200 Mastercard gift-cards!
Please fill out the survey and share it with others.
