Outreach

The Young Workers Centre Advice Service runs free, educational and interactive Rights at Work sessions for school and college students of working age. Sessions are 50 minutes long, including lots of time for questions, and content has been developed in consultation with, and support from ACT Government. Bookings are now open for Term 4 2019 and Term 1 2020. Get in touch to find out more or book a session.

The Young Workers Centre has an active and adaptable Outreach Program. We can come to you and  run targeted information sessions, workshops and stalls at your event, on your campus or with your community group. We can develop and deliver sessions, workshops and materials right for your group or organisation.

We believe that every young worker needs to know their rights at work and we want to take every opportunity to educate and empower young workers.

See our schedule of upcoming outreach events including rights at work information sessions, webinars designed specially for parents and teachers, stalls at local festivals and markets and fundraising and social and campaigning events.

Strength in numbers

We're building a movement of young workers powerful enough to end the illegal and unfair practices by employers that rip-off young workers.
